Over the years most of the client issues I have encountered encompass loss and control in some way, shape or form. Many clients feel out of control, and helpless or in complete despair, and would like to be able to clear a pathway for themselves to work out a more manageable way of living with less anxiety. Clients want to be listened to, and for some that is a rare luxury as friends and family often have their own agenda. Regular reviews to reflect where a client is, in relation to their therapy journey are part of the therapeutic process and help to build trust and structure.
In therapy we explore the impact the client's past has upon their behavioral and lifestyle choices in the present and we are able to build a picture unraveling blocks and barriers to the client's happiness and clarity of focus. The aim is to simplify the client's world when there is chaos present and focus on perspective and working with options available.

I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Supervisor with over 15 years of working within the mental health sector. I am personable, dependable, empathic, supportive and trustworthy.
