Hello, my name is Sally and I will be present with you on your therapeutic journey. Having a safe space to explore current concerns offers a 'neutral' sounding board for you, as often well meaning friends and family will have an opinion on our life and decisions we make. We will work at your pace to prioritise your needs. Over the years many client issues I have encountered are about loss in various forms, and control - often from others. You may feel helpless or in despair, and would like to be able to clear a pathway for yourself to see with more clarity and establish an easier way of managing day to day.
In therapy we talk about whatever you feel comfortable to bring and then as the sessions progress we can build a clearer picture to work from. You can explore areas of life that you find difficult and we explore why, and look at alternative perspectives that may lessen anxiety and stress. I specialise in bereavement, unpaid carers and relationships.
I offer a comfortable, relaxed environment in which clients can explore their thoughts and feelings in confidence without being judged. I am a qualified, experienced Counsellor and Supervisor with over 16 years of working within the mental health sector. I am personable, dependable, empathic, supportive and trustworthy.
