I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with 15 years of experience working in the NHS in a range of settings. I have extensive experience working with children, young people and adults with a range of difficult feelings including anxiety, depression, trauma and bereavement. I have supported people who want space to understand themselves and their lives better or to work through relationship difficulties or other issues.
I work in a collaborative and integrative way - I draw on the range of evidence based models in which trained in order to work therapeutically in the best way for you. I have been trained in treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Family Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Finding the right therapist or psychologist to help you work towards your goals is an important choice and a powerful first step. It is important to make a therapy space feel safe and secure in order to build a relationship which can be trusting.
