I understand that finding the right counsellor is so important and this is the first step to having someone who will walk beside you on your journey.
If you chose to work with me, you, as the client will set the agenda and decide what you would like to use your sessions for - they are your sessions, not mine! We will work at the pace that you feel most comfortable with and work together to establish a therapeutic relationship that ensures you feel heard, understood and supported. I am able to offer face to face sessions in my therapy room in Barry or online via Teams or Zoom.
I have worked for the past few years as a school based counsellor and therefore I have extensive experience of working with children and young people, although also have experience of working with adults - particularly those suffering from bereavement, anxiety, relationship and identity issues.
I will provide a safe, confidential space for you to explore the issues that you want to bring to counselling. I will tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs but will always endeavour to ensure that you feel thoroughly supported throughout this journey.
