I work online and over the phone with clients struggling with either the short-term or long-term impact of abuse, loss, trauma and gaslighting. The wounds caused by these experiences can remain forever open, derailing our lives and preventing us from moving on to find happiness and fulfilment. I accompany my clients as they journey back into the hurt of the past to untangle the bonds that anchor them there and teach them how to build and maintain healthy boundaries in relationships so they can look forward to a brighter and happier future.
Many abusers use gaslighting to confuse, control and punish their victims, denying the truth, refusing to ever admit wrongdoing and justifying their lies, infidelity, violence and cruelty. This pernicious psychological violence is illegal. I help clients who have been treated in this way to evaluate others' trustworthiness and keep themselves safe from harm.
