Life can be challenging and there are times when we may need help to navigate our way through it. Often our early experiences in our families don't equip us to manage life as well as we would like. This can cause difficulties in our relationships, both with ourselves and others and can lead us to repeat patterns that are unhelpful and leave us feeling depressed and anxious or stuck and unfulfilled. Therapy can help us to understand ourselves and our experiences and to give us the resources to cope with difficult feelings and circumstances. It can help us to improve our lives and relationships and make better decisions.

Having originally trained as a social worker, then as an individual and group psychotherapist, I have had over 25 years experience in the helping professions, including 10 years in an NHS secondary care mental health setting, working with both individuals and groups. I work with both short and longterm clients.

Whatever brings you to therapy, I can offer a warm, supportive, non-judgemental space where we can think together to understand your difficulties and resolve them.

Group therapy can offer a supportive space to help you to understand yourself better, make sense of your world and to address the obstacles that may be getting in the way of you having a meaningful and fulfilling life. It can be particularly helpful if you have difficulties in relating to others and developing healthy relationships, if you are feeling isolated, or misunderstood. I'm currently looking for women for a weekly, mixed, in-person therapy group near Archway in North London. It will be on a Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm. This will be an unstructured open-ended group offering a safe space to gain support, reflect with others and work at your own pace on any issues that are currently causing you difficulties or getting in the way of leading a happy and fulfilling life. The fee for this will be from £130 per month.
