I work with people who are experiencing painful, runaway thoughts, and feelings that won’t be managed or don’t make sense.
Do you have the nagging sense that old feelings or incidents that you couldn’t fully deal with at the time are still affecting you? Sometimes it’s clear where difficulties like anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood swings and stress are coming from, but at other times they seem to arise for no good reason.
My specialisms are working with loss - mainly bereavement - and the aftermath of trauma - particularly arising from harm of any type endured in childhood or close relationships. I also help with the big questions of life - not being able to enjoy what you've worked for, feeling there must be more to life, or not knowing who you are or what you really want.
Everyone is unique in how you prefer to approach making that first step. Initial contact can be made by text or email, then I’ll arrange a brief initial conversation by phone or on a platform such as Zoom. I'm usually able to answer any messages within two working days.
