I work with a variety of difficulties such as: conflicts around identity (including race, religion and culture, gender and sexuality), self-esteem (including concerns about stigma associated with accessing mental health support), negotiating life events (such as work related stress, trauma, abuse, loss and bereavement), mood and anxiety, interpersonal relationships, personality disorders and medically unexplained symptoms.
I am a consultant psychiatrist in medical psychotherapy registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) as a Medical Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. I offer psychoanalytic /psychodynamic psychotherapy and Mentalisation Based Treatment (MBT) & couples therapy. I also offer supervision to clinicians and trainees.
