Something I hold in mind with everyone I work with, is their unique identity and how this shapes their experience in the world. What expectations have been placed upon you because of who you are? How does this show up in challenges day-to-day? How might you have been treated or (mis)understood by those around you? I am particularly interested in relationships. I believe that our well-being and sense of self are strongly linked to our relationship to the world around us and the people in it. This includes our parents or the people who raised us, our intimate partners, friends and perhaps the relationships we long for.
I am a trauma-informed, integrative therapist and I work online and in-person. Together we can explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings.
I have experience working for a leading mental health charity and bereavement service, a low cost therapy service. I also volunteered as a helpline volunteer with an LGBTQ+ charity for 10+ years
