When your child is struggling with difficulties like anxiety, low mood, aggression, ADHD or behaviour issues, it can feel overwhelming and exhausting. These difficulties affect your home life, relationships, mood and confidence - often feeling isolating and lonely.
Together we will explore you and your child's thoughts, feelings and experiences, and how these impact you both. We will identify your child's strengths and challenges and develop an effective, evidence-based action plan to create lasting, positive change. Typical goals include reducing anxiety, improving mood, and increasing confidence with parenting.
I am experienced working with children with emotional or behavioural issues, autism or ADHD. I also have specific expertise working on issues related to divorce, separation and co-parenting.
I offer adult clients short term treatment for a range of issues (e.g. CBT for anxiety or low mood), or open ended therapy for longer term support.

Groups
Crystal Palace Parenting Group
A group for parents whose children have recently started school (aged 4-7) and are struggling with emotional or behavioural issues like ADHD, anger, anxiety or disruptive behaviour. The group is led by an NHS Clinical Child Psychologist and experienced parenting practitioner. In this popular, friendly and welcoming group parents develop and practise strategies that build the skills and confidence to support their child's struggles, and share ideas and experiences with other parents.
