About
We all experience difficulties in life sometimes. Making sense of these, and finding a way through them can be challenging if we try to do it alone. In counselling sessions with me, you will be completely welcomed and supported to explore whatever feels important to you. I will offer you the time and space to slow down, bring mindful attention to your experience and discover new perspectives. I will listen to you with compassion, respect and hold what you share in confidence.
I work in an integrative way, so counselling sessions will be different with each client, and the process will always be a collaboration with you. As well as listening to you with acceptance, I may offer mindfulness, grounding and visualisation exercises, body awareness, object work, creative or imaginative exercises, to help you to explore new perspectives
It is important that you find the right counsellor for you, so I offer a free initial online meeting of up to 20 minutes. This is an opportunity for me to explain more about how I work, for you to ask any questions you might have, and for us to get a feel for how it would be to work together. If you would like to book, just send me an email.
