I welcome all survivors of violence and abuse, but especially those historically silenced or pathologised: people diagnosed with what psychiatry calls personality disorders (especially BPD), survivors of colonial violence, and those dismissed as “insane” or materialistically reduced into being owners of a "faulty" brain or genes. My work bridges three domains: psychology, life sciences, and post-colonial criticism of abusive power structures - be it at home, at work, or in the nation, and in this sense isn't therapy, but psychological formulation towards autonomy and self-authority.

I specialise in the study of violence and evil — the lived aftermath of the so-called “trauma” — and in the study of structural injustice impacting mental distress, especially as it relates to concepts of health, propriety, and misappropriation of scientific knowledge (medico-biological, physical, and linguistic).

My work centres around the idea that the so called mental health and personality disorders are not adequate descriptions of distress - and are often retraumatising to the sufferer. I see them as completely reasonable responses to voilence, evil, and exploitation. That view is explored scientifically, emotionally, and analytically.
