My practice allows you to talk about what is on your mind and what matters in your heart. Anxiety, ruminating thoughts, tricky emotions, sadness may put you in a dark or uncomfortable place. There are ways you can modulate your feelings and find ways to normalise your life again. I work with my clients to understand their thoughts, behaviours and the emotions that drive them. My clients bring issues such as anxiety, loss, stress, trauma, relationships and addictions to sessions. They seek answers, understanding, relief, resilience, coping strategies, solutions, peace of mind, acceptance, and compassion. What is it that you need?
I use many easy to apply interventions that allow you to take something away from the sessions that you can use immediately to manage your anxiety and concerns. Therapy does not have to be drawn out, but if you are needing long term therapy this can be discussed. The main thing to know is that in the sessions you will be listened to without judgement.
At times we do not even know how to express our thoughts and feelings, but my experience is that people are willing to talk if they are treated with respect and empathy. I too have experienced some of life's challenges and know what it is like to be human, and so I often you a space that I will safely guide you through.
