Hello, You may be suffering from depression and low self-esteem, anxiety or difficulty with relationships. You may be bereaved or struggling with past trauma or abuse. Psychotherapy provides a space where you can allow, express and learn about your feelings. My approach is psychodynamic and relational which makes connections between feelings and behaviour, past and present, helping to make sense of your thoughts and patterns of relating. This approach also looks at the way we may work against ourselves in relationships, work and other areas of our lives, enabling opportunities to find new ways of living.
My experience includes working with women in the NHS and the voluntary sector. I trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy in Bristol. I also offer psychodynamic and relational supervision to trainees and practitioners, having completed the Psychoanalytic Supervision training at The Guild for Psychotherapy in London.
It can be difficult to find the right therapist so I offer a free initial session to see if I am the 'right fit' for you.
