Hi, I am Russell and I run a private counselling practice called Woven Counselling. I believe in offering a therapeutic experience that is as unique and individualised as each person who walks through my door. Woven Counselling draws on the multi-layered aspects of therapy. A process of exploration and the unravelling of the many tightly woven threads of life that can cause challenge and conflict. These threads include our own unique experience of childhood, as a young person the process of forming a unique identity and seeking where we belong, and as an adult a culmination in all that has gone before that shapes our view view.
I offer a safe space to examine these layers. Through various therapeutic techniques you can begin to untangle and reframe thoughts and reactions. Fostering a sense of order from what may have initially felt like overwhelming chaos. Clients often gain clarity, learn coping strategies, & develop healthier ways of interacting with their thoughts and emotions.
