I facilitate support for you to talk about what's bothering you one step at a time. I offer a warm, accepting space where you can be yourself and explore what is going on for you at your own pace.
My approach is relational, showing my humanness and not hiding behind a facade of theory. I listen not only to what is said, but also to the emotions and meaning behind it. I may gently reflect what I notice or ask questions to help you explore things differently, a bit like holding up a mirror to you.
Where helpful, I also bring attention to body awareness and emotional experience. Sessions are client led, and there is no 'right way' to begin, we can take things step by step together. I work with people with a range of concerns, including those who feel overwhelmed, bereaved, anxious, wanting to work on their self-esteem.
I also support neurodivergent clients, drawing on my lived experience as an AuDHD counsellor.I understand how important it is for therapy to feel accessible, and I am happy to adapt sessions to suit your needs. I aim to offer a non-judgemental, affirming space where you feel respected, validated and understood.
