I am a BACP accredited Psychotherapist, Couples Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor, Yoga Teacher, Sound Therapy Practitioner, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist and trained in EFT and NLP. I work within private practice with young people and adults in Brighton and Hove on a short or long term basis within a safe, confidential and non judgemental environment. When working with individuals I work with what each individual brings to counselling. Some of the issues
I work with include:- depression, anxiety, stress, loss and bereavement, university life and homesickness, low self confidence, worth and esteem.
Central to the process is the therapeutic relationship – based upon authenticity, empathy and respect. Grounded in a person-centred tradition. I am an Integrative counsellor, which means that I draw from different theoretical approaches in order to meet the needs of each individual client in a unique and personal way.
I also work collaboratively with couples helping enable them to develop an awareness and undertaking of their deeper issues, which underline the problems that they are facing, along with awareness of practical interventions they can make to break negative patterns.
