Hi, I'm Emma Ironside. I'm so pleased you've found me! I am a BACP Registered Psychotherapist, and a Practitioner Psychologist (completing my Doctorate training in Counselling Psychology). I specialise in relationships, boundaries, self-worth and identity exploration. I am an integrative psychotherapist, drawing on a range of psychological approaches to support you in the best way possible. I am trained in Humanistic Person-Centred Therapy, Relational Psychodynamic, Compassion Focused Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. I have 12 years experience offering therapy, and relationships counselling, in the NHS.
As someone who's had therapy, I understand that starting your own therapy journey is daunting. I will always strive to make you feel accepted and heard, within a safe, ethical and non-judgemental therapeutic space.
