Hi, I'm Emma Ironside. I'm so pleased you've found me! I am a Level 7 BACP Registered Psychotherapist, and a Practitioner Psychologist (completing my Doctorate training in Counselling Psychology). I specialise in relationships, boundaries, self-esteem and identity exploration. You might be experiencing difficulties in your relationships, notice that you keep getting stuck in the same patterns in relationships, or struggle to implement healthy boundaries with yourself or others. You may struggle with your self-image, confidence or self-worth or you might want to explore your identity. I offer a warm, inclusive and welcoming practice!
I am an integrative psychotherapist, drawing on a range of psychological approaches to support you in the best way possible. I am trained in Humanistic Person-Centred Therapy, Relational Psychodynamic, Compassion Focused Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. I have 12 years experience offering therapy, and relationships counselling, in the NHS.
As someone who's had therapy, I understand that starting your own therapy journey is daunting. I will always strive to make you feel accepted and heard, within a safe, ethical and non-judgemental therapeutic space.
