Welcome, I’m Beckie – Root and Rise Counselling.
I’m a person-centred integrative counsellor based in Eastbourne, offering face-to-face and online sessions for adults and children (8+). In a grounded and relational manner. I believe in the importance of being truly heard, without judgment.
At the heart of my approach is empathy, connection, and a genuine respect for your individual journey. I provide a calm and supportive space where you can explore your experiences safely and without judgment. Together, we work at your pace to help you uncover your inner strengths, build resilience, and move towards healing and personal growth.
Children often feel deeply but may struggle to articulate their inner world. Through creative and playful techniques, I help them feel safe, understood, and supported. Common Issues: – emotional regulation and anxiety, school avoidance and social difficulties, sensory sensitivity or meltdowns, family transitions, grief, or loss, support for autism and ADHD
I use creative methods to help emotions surface when words are hard to find. This approach accesses unconscious parts of the self, encourages insight, and supports emotional regulation. I offer creative, adaptive, trauma-informed therapy that gently holds your experiences and celebrates neurodiversity in an affirming, inclusive way.
