Offering counselling to all, including you. Thank you for viewing my profile. Let me introduce myself to you. I'm Karen. The best thing that I can share with you is that I'm REAL. What I mean by this is that I'm more than the qualification states to be your counsellor. I'm in my mid-forties; I've had a challenging childhood, to say the least. I've dealt with grief firsthand and an eating disorder and abandonment issues. I am knowledgeable in every field. I promise that you can be yourself in my safe space, which is free of judgement. I'm ready to work with you at your speed. Together within sessions we can work with your life.

In the area of trauma, I work with clients to process and move on from abuse, violence, and major life events that have left them distressed, powerless, and stuck. The healing journey begins by helping them to reclaim control.Anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one will tell you that bereavement is a deeply personal experience.

As a person-centred therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment to help individuals and couples to navigate a range of emotional and psychological challenges. These include bereavement, domestic violence, menopause issues, couples’ relationship difficulties, and trauma (PTSD and complex PTSD).
