Perhaps you feel anxious in a way that never quite switches off, or flat in a way you cannot explain. Perhaps things look fine on paper and you cannot work out why they do not feel that way. Perhaps you keep ending up in the same arguments, the same jobs, the same dynamics with different people. Many of the people I work with are the capable ones, the ones everybody leans on, who have quietly stopped being asked how they are. Together we make sense of the patterns underneath, where they came from and how they still run, so that you have a choice in them.
I am an integrative counsellor and Registered Member of the BACP, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy and Transactional Analysis. I work at relational depth on the patterns we carry from earlier relationships. I was a teacher before I trained, and I care about you understanding yourself, not just feeling better for a week.
Reaching out can feel hard, especially when you cannot quite explain what is wrong. You do not need to be able to. You do not need a diagnosis, a crisis, or a neat explanation.
