I have a wealth of experience in working with both adults and post primary school children/adolescents. I work with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma (including issues from childhood), bereavement, low self esteem, relationship issues and others. My role is to truly listen without judgment and with empathy and understanding. My priority is to build a trusting relationship with you to allow you to you feel relaxed and safe, in a place where you can explore your issues at your own pace. Everyone has the ability within themselves to find a sense of well-being, and with my support and expertise you can do that.
I am trained in using a range of different approaches, including psychodynamic, person centred, Compassion Focused Therapy and CBT. I am an integrative therapist and tailor my approach to meet each client’s individual, specific needs. Throughout the therapy process, I work in an adaptive way you to ensure my client’s wishes, needs and goals are met.
