Thanks for viewing my profile. I work as an integrative counsellor, that means I can offer person-centered, humanistic, CBT and psychodynamic techniques depending on the client need. I offer an initial telephone assessment, then we agree a plan of work for the presenting issue. I work to a high standard. My practice is accredited by the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists and also by the National Counselling and Psychotherapists Society. I work with both adults and young people (11-18 yrs). My practice is confidential and non-judgemental. I'm also qualified to offer clinical supervision at £60 per 90 minute session
Life can be so busy and relentless. Many people struggle with the demands of daily life and the problems that can pose. My client work includes working with bereavement, anxiety, addiction, low self-esteem/ self-worth and boundary issues. Sometimes just sitting talking in a quiet space can make a world of difference.
I have seven years training and much life experience. I find it's quite a natural thing for me to step into the client's shoes and experience their world. The empathy and congruence that flows from this can have great benefits for healing and the therapeutic relationship.
