I'm here to help you get different results. Whether you're experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, anger or low self-esteem, we can work it out - sometimes within just 4 to 6 sessions. Maybe you've already identified some repeating patterns in your life that lead you where you don't want - or like - to be; maybe you feel like a puppet on strings, knowing unseen forces are pulling you but unable to identify quite what they are and thus break free? I'll work with you on your behavioural patterns, starting with identifying them (either you can explain them to me or we can identify them together) then looking at their sources and identifying ways of breaking free of them.
I have 25 years' experience as a psychotherapist, currently work as a counsellor and am a quality assessor for a national counselling training organisation. My work draws on many different models including: Person-Centred Therapy - establishing our relationship so that we can get results as quickly and easily as possible Transactional Analysis - analysing the workings of your relationships The Psychodynamic Models - examining your past’s impact on your present Mindfulness - an integrative, mind-body approach to stress that supports individuals to change.
The key to successful therapy is a good relationship with your counsellor; I bring insight, compassion and - where appropriate – humour to sessions. It doesn't all have to be hard work!

The Listening Circle, Twickenham
The Listening Circle is designed to help people overcome their negative emotions, including stress relief, anger management, anxiety, and depression. We meet fortnightly on a Thursday evening or Friday morning. The group is co-facilitated by Dr. Kate Alobaid. During the lockdown, we are communicating via Zoom.
