I'm an experienced Individual and Couple Therapist in both private and public sectors. I’m a Supervisor and occasional Lecturer. I have an MA at the Tavistock and a PGdip at the WPF, Couple Therapy and Supervision Certificates . I'm in my 40s and practice in English, Italian and French. My interest has been around mental health since I worked in a Mental Health Unit, 20 years ago. I help running a monthly support group for women with PND and I have experience giving workshops on different psychoanalytic subjects. I also work with victims of Narcissistic abuse, bereavement, Anxiety and Depression
My approach to therapy is based on psychoanalysis as much as on Attachment and Person centered theories of the mind. I borrow techniques from EFF therapy for the here and now and work with my intuition and countertransference feelings towards the client. Childhood experiences might of might not come into the work based on its necessity.
I specialise in women’s postnatal health, depression, bereavement and victims of narcissistic abuse.
