About

Before clients begin therapy they are usually on the edge where they have tried to cope on their own for a sustained period, however this has no longer become effective. I can provide you with a discreet, comfortable and confidential space to support you through these challenging times which are hard to manage on your own. Discretion and a non-judgemental attitude are the key qualities I hold and what keeps my clients coming back to see me each week. I aim to provide a safe and engaging space to support my clients in moving forward. Therapy can be helpful for i) those wanting to understand the causes and the maintenance of their problems ii) thinking about where you are in your life and how you wish to move forward iii) exploring relationships iiii) managing general life stressors. On a personal note, I was born in the UK and have lived in Singapore and Hong Kong. I come from a culturally rich and diverse background which enables me to appreciate the uniqueness of each individual I see. I therefore work with people in the context and development of their own lives.
I offer a fresh and original approach to therapy where I not only listen but also provide practical coping skills. My clients have stated my style not only allows them to talk openly but that they have learnt tips, tricks and techniques that aid them to move on when feeling stuck. I work with people across the lifespan from many backgrounds and with a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, relationship issues (including affairs, separation and divorce), work-related stress, low self-esteem and trauma to name a few.
I offer a free phone consultation where you can discuss what brings you to therapy. I will have an honest conversation with you about working together therapeutically towards your goals. If you decide therapy is right for you I will invite you to come and meet me for an assessment. At the end of the assessment I will ask you how the experience was for you and whether you feel comfortable to work with me. If so a regular time will be allocated and we will agree on a initial number of sessions. If you feel that the relationship did not click between us I will be happy to refer you on.
