As a Counselling Psychologist, I provide an integrative and evidence-based approach to therapy to cater to the unique needs of each client. Everyone is different and one size does not fit all. I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) therapies. Additionally, I have expertise in using Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
I have a specialism in working with behavioural addictions and issues with technology, internet, gambling, gaming, pornography and shopping. I also have experience working with a range of issues, including: low mood and depression, performance, anxiety, bereavement, parenting issues, abuse, addictions and compulsive behaviours, anger issues and trauma.
I can provide therapy in both short-term and long-term formats. During short-term therapy, we can focus on specific concerns, while long-term therapy allows for a deeper exploration of the issues that bring you to therapy.
