My person-centred approach underpins a sensitivity to trauma and to cultural contexts. I aim to provide a safe space for you to bring any thoughts and feelings about any subject, and to be listened to attentively. Each person is unique and has experienced life differently, and I will endeavour to work together with you to respond to your particular situation.
I aim to offer an empathic, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship in which we can talk openly and genuinely. I believe people have the resources within themselves to respond to the challenges they face, and that it is my role to help you identify and develop that capacity. I will encourage you to go at the pace that feels right for you.
I welcome opportunities to work with people from all social locations and intersections. I am registered psychotherapist with UKCP and am also a qualified person-centred supervisor and trainer.
