I have many years experience working with young people, adults and families to enhance their emotional wellbeing and developing solutions to better manage their life. I take an integrative, and collaborative approach to counselling, and tailor my intervention based on the presenting problem, utilizing the person's resources, strengths and values, to promote change. In turn aiding to overcome psychological barriers, that are preventing them from enjoying emotional wellness.
As an integrative therapist, I incorporate elements from different schools of Psychotherapy, such as CBT and MI, as wells a Person-Centered and Solution Focused approach. I support clients in setting goals, by identifying and developing coping skills, to overcome psychological barriers, that are preventing them from enjoying emotional wellness.
