I am an Integrative Counsellor, Supervisor and Tutor working with Synergie Counselling based in Hillingdon. I believe the most important aspect of any any counselling relationship is for clients to be able to talk about about their thoughts, feelings and goals in a safe, confidential space without judgement. It's also important that clients feel heard, that their therapist is honest and real with them in an empathic and understanding way.
I have been trained in a number of theories. I offer a humanistic approach that can combine a number of other theories e.g. CBT. I have experience in a number of specific mental health areas such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, just to name a few.
I believe the most difficult decision for any client is taking the first step to reach out to a complete stranger for help. I offer a free 30 minute assessment session to new clients and will always approach any new client with professionalism, compassion, understanding, empathy and without judgement. I can also offer some low cost therapy where appropriate.
