I have experience working with clients with various issues, I particularly enjoy working with clients experiencing difficulties with self-esteem, anxiety, addiction, trauma and relationship issues. I have found great satisfaction working with men's issues and sexuality I have lots of experience working with men and women in their late teens to early 40s. Clients are normally nervous coming to counselling and I endeavour to create a non-judmental and relaxed environment for you to explore your issues and find solutions that suit you and your lifestyle best.

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years experience of working with adults within the NHS. I am trained in a wide variety of evidence based therapies, but my main therapeutic approach is psychodynamic in nature. This focuses on the possible impact of early experiences and relationships, and unconscious processes, on your current emotions, relationships with others and your relationship with yourself. I provide a safe, warm space in which we can explore your difficulties together. My focus is on developing a good therapeutic relationship in which we can explore emotions openly and honestly without judgment or criticism.

By coming to terms with past events and learning to recognise how these influenced your physical and emotional wellbeing, behaviours and your relationship's in the present.
Whether your feeling stuck, at a low ebb, dislike the person you've become. Perhaps feel as if your at a crossroads in your life or just looking to challenge yourself. Even the strongest among us can feel lost, unsure, unhappy or even wonder what's the point. Life can be a struggle through many forms of loss in our lives we can feel hopeless and helpless. Even at your lowest, your still trying, still hoping. That's why your reading this, your looking for something to change, to challenge where you are in life and how to change it, so you can feel happy, content, alive again. As an Integrative Therapist I can accompany you.

My aspiration is for counselling to be an experience that you look forward to, with a curious mindset. With 11+ years experience in a therapeutic setting, I am someone who will actively participate in the sessions, provide fresh perspectives, challenge when needed, and strives to foster a collaborative environment that encourages conversation. I will not merely nod along passively or provide superficial feedback; instead, I intend to engage deeply, ensuring that you feel heard and offering insightful reflections. By drawing on your past experiences we can provide valuable context to support current challenges and make changes.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
