My name is Jacqueline and I qualified as a counsellor in 2008. I have since worked with a wide variety of issues such as bereavement, anxiety, low self worth, lack of confidence, addiction, relational issues such as couples, autism, understanding self concept, shyness and much more. I believe that the professional working relationship between the counsellor and client is of fundamental importance as it provides opportunities in which change can occur. For that reason I provide a free assessment of your needs. Also meeting myself prior to engaging in any counseling will help you to decide if I would be the right counsellor for you.
My special interests are Couples Counseling as well as LGBTQ+ and Autisim. I believe that we are all unique individuals despite the many different labels that life has to offer us. Our sense of self can become distorted when we try to make sense of ourselves through societies social interactions. We offer a confidential, non bias and nonjudgmental service
The counseling takes place in a supportive and safe environment allowing for exploration of your concerns. Everything you say will be listened to without judgement. You and your counsellor will explore different ways of thinking and feeling in relation to the issues that you bring. Different perspectives facilitating better more hopeful understandings.
