Dr Amin is an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist and an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. In addition to her private practice, Dr Amin is currently working within the NHS with adults with complex and enduring mental health difficulties and works as a Lecturer and Clinical Tutor at University College London offering teaching, training and supervision. Dr Amin specialises in working with adult mental health and works with a range of difficulties such as trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalised anxiety, phobias, eating disorders and personality disorders.
Dr Amin has specialist training and skills in various therapeutic approaches and is skilled in delivering psychological interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. Dr Amin also provides clinical supervision and training.
