I work therapeutically with adults for a range of reasons including: Depression, Low mood, Anxiety & Social Anxiety, Relational Issues & Social difficulties, Loss of confidence & Self worth, Difficult life events, Family & work related stress, Life transitions & change Over control coping, Lack of connection with others, Rigidity & Perfectionism, Avoidance. The aim of sessions would be to offer a safe space for you to explore your difficulties and choices you have available to you to create a life worth living. We would work together to increase your connection with self and others.
My name is Rebecca Pond. I am an experienced Integrative Therapist specialising in Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT). I work from an integrative perspective, which means I can incorporate other theories and approaches that I have studied, these include Person Centred Therapy (PCT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt and Mindfulness.
In sessions you will have the space to share what is going on for you. We will work together with curiosity, exploring your difficulties and what you hope to achieve from therapy. Sessions can offer you clarity on what it is you need and enable you to make changes to help you reach your goals and process things that have happened to you.
