I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor. I work from a humanistic core, which means that I keep you at the centre of our work. However, I do not believe that therapy is a one-size-fits-all process. We are all unique, and different therapeutic approaches may feel more akin to you than others. Being an integrative therapist means that I can draw on a number of approaches and skills in our work together. These are integrated seamlessly, allowing us to work in a way that feels right for you. I have experience working with many different problems, with a particular interest in fertility-related issues and childhood sexual abuse.
Counselling is not a cure-all. It doesn’t work for every problem, or every situation. This being said, it can give you a unique lens and space to focus on your life, your self and your relationships and start to untangle the knots that build up in our lives. It can help us find new ways of being and relating to ourselves and others.
Our work together can help you to step away from judging yourself, and finding self-compassion and acceptance. In doing so, we become more free to move through the world, our relationships and ourselves in the way we want and need. This allows us to grow and thrive towards a more peaceful state of being.
