I am a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC, Reg: PYL041023). For over a decade, I have worked in public healthcare settings in the UK and Ireland; helping people, of all ages, to cope with and recover from emotional and behavioural difficulties such as Attachment issues, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, phobias and the impact of Trauma/Developmental Trauma. My approach is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. I provide a supportive and confidential space for you to safely explore your difficulties and current needs.
My work is formulation driven, meaning that I develop a psychological understanding of your difficulties with you which ensures that your healing journey is personalised to you. During therapy, I draw on various evidence based psychological approaches in accordance with both the problem being treated and my assessment of what will be most beneficial for you.
My goal is to support and empower individuals to build an understanding of their difficulties, heal from past trauma, recognise their unique strengths, make meaningful changes and ultimately create a life that feels aligned with their individual values.
