About
Hello, you are here because you are considering therapy, and would like someone to listen whilst you share what is on your mind. Life throws challenges at us, and sometimes this can make it difficult to cope. We find ourselves needing more support so we can manage our thoughts and feelings better, find coping strategies that work and process our experiences. Working on ourselves allows us to move towards a place where our emotions sit more comfortably and we are better able to handle what life throws our way.
What I offer is a safe and secure relationship for you to talk, be listened too, understood, and accepted, so that you can explore and unpick what has brought you into therapy. I am a person-centred therapist who places you, the client, at the heart of therapy. I help you through empowering you to make choices about what you need for your wellbeing.
It can be a mixed bag of emotions reaching out for help, such as feelings of difficulty, relief, fear, embarrassment, or excitement. Whatever has brought you here and however you are feeling, it's OK for us to talk about it. I offer a free initial chat to see if you would like to work with me, as well as concessions for students and people on a low income.
