Hello! My name is Rebecca and I have been in Practice in Bingley , West Yorkshire as a Person Centred Counsellor for 7 years. I have just completed a Level 7 Diploma at Masters level in Transactional Analysis.
I offer a friendly, safe and confidential space for you to explore your issues- past and present, working alongside you to help you achieve the changes you want and need. I offer short and long term therapy, face to face or if you prefer, online.
I specialise in Trauma, Addiction and Depression / Depressive Disorder and have had many years experience in these areas due to my previous role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Addiction. As an ex-nurse I have experience of working with complex physical and mental health issues and have developed my expertise further from a psychotherapeutic approach.
I am a warm, compassionate Therapist and thoroughly enjoy my work with Clients. My aim is to guide you through life’s difficulties, exploring past issues and beliefs that determine how you think, feel and behave in the here and now and help you understand these responses are not always necessary or appropriate.
