I’m a registered Counselling Psychologist with nearly a decade of clinical experience within both public and private sectors across the UK and USA. I understand the difficulties that life brings, whether it's moving abroad, adjusting to a new culture/environment, life stage changes, or difficult experiences in the past or present.
It can sometimes feel overwhelming to know where to begin, and my aim is to collaboratively create a space in which we can try and 'connect the dots', by understanding and support what may be happening, or just understanding yourself better.
I have substantial experience providing therapy to a range of diverse difficulties, ranging from anxiety, depression, complex PTSD and psychosis, amongst others. Given my own background as mixed race, and having lived in Europe, Asia, Australia and America, I understand the importance of context, environment, culture and race, and how this can impact us.
I utilise a trauma-informed, integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, as I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all or singular way to therapy, but rather that each person may need something tailored to them specifically. This, alongside, goals, hopes, and past experiences in therapy will be discussed in the initial session.
