Hi I'm Ramandeep, I am a qualified counsellor and hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. And a qualified member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As well as developing my private practice, I work as a advice line counsellor. The ethos of the service is to provide affordable and accessible counselling to the local community and beyond – which is something I feel passionate about. I have worked with a multitude of presenting issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, relationship issues and cultural/religious issues.
I have a particular interest in promoting and reducing the stigma of counselling in the Asian community. I can also communicate in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. I offer counselling using a person-centred approach, providing a safe, confidential environment where you can fully release your thoughts and feelings and work towards your aspirations.
My sessions are client-led which means I can adapt to your needs so you are able to decide what to explore; my role is to support you and walk alongside you.
