I am an Integrative Counsellor accredited member of the National Counselling Society. I work with both adults and young people. I offer a confidential, warm, friendly, supportive, non-judgemental environment. A space where you can feel safe to talk about your feelings, thoughts, fears and concerns to help you understand and clarify what it is that is troubling you and to help you find ways to work through your issues. We can work together to help enhance your self-awareness and resilience as we work towards achieving a healthy, positive outcome.
My therapeutic perspective is relational and integrative, which means I emphasize the relationship between the client and the therapist and use a variety of modalities (Transactional Analysis - Gestalt-Person Center Therapy –Cognitive Behavioural Therapy –Existential - Mindfulness) to work with each individual client and their individuality.
Together we might make sense of what isn't working well in your life, how your past affects your present; look at how you relate to yourself and others; pay attention to your patterns of thoughts and behaviours; bring awareness to how you experience your body and make links between your thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations.
