We are a group of Plymouth based team of accredited professionals providing services in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Counselling, Life Coaching and Integrative Psychotherapy. We are specialists in trauma, PTSD and CPTSD and offer assessment and treatment, as well as clinical supervision for other health professionals. Our practitioners are fully accredited, we offer a confidential service supporting you in deciding what may be the best help, We also offer rates on a sliding scale.

You may be experiencing a mental health difficulty, wanting to work through Trauma, low self esteem or your own emotions in a safe way. Within my practice you can be supported non judgementally to move towards your change within the therapeutic relationship- keeping you at it's heart. I am a kind and honest therapist who is engaged in the work with you. I offer longer term work, this might mean exploring gender, a loss or life direction. I work with anxiety, depression, phobia's, which for some people might be short term work, within my practice this is something I offer. I hold a safe place for change for adults 18+.

Hello, my name is Dr Joanna Saddington. I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2006. Before setting up in private practice I worked in the NHS for 18 years. I am passionate about helping adults, young people, children and families overcome their difficulties. We all know life can be challenging, so it doesn't matter whether a problem is longstanding or is more recent. What is important, is that we work together to try to solve it. I always aim to work in a way that suits the individual and their needs, as well as aiming to deliver therapy empathetically and without judgment.

I have wide experience counselling a diverse range of clients experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss, grief, anger issues, confidence issues, relationship difficulties, issues around sex, issues at work, addiction, eating issues, abuse, trauma and autism. I work in conjunction with NHS services and other health professionals to support adults in the South West. I have a particular interest in working with clients with relationship difficulties (including sex issues), clients affected by narcissism in their relationships, and clients with somatic problems including pain, chronic fatigue, ME, IBS and fibromyalgia.

My approach in sessions is centred on you, focusing on the here and now, current situations and difficulties you are experiencing. How you are feeling and behaving at present is often linked to past experiences which remain unresolved and continue to impact on your health and well-being today. Our sessions are based on respect, compassion, empathy and honesty. I will support you in exploring your reasons for wanting therapy, within a non-judgmental environment. By creating a safe, open and genuine relationship with you, we can together find ways to deal with the difficulties you are experiencing. The age range I work with is 18+.

I am a psychotherapist working with adults, children and young people in Bristol. Hi and welcome, I work with individuals and couples. I offer clinical supervision, workshops to counsellors, psychotherapists and as well as organisations. My previous clients have said I have an easy going and insightful approach . Whilst I don't claim to have all the answers what I do have is experience helping people have a greater understanding themselves and supporting them to create a positive way forward.

EDA Associates are a team of highly experienced Counsellors and Psychotherapists providing a range of therapies to help with Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Low Self Esteem and all Trauma based issues including PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Our therapists are qualified in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desenistisation and Reprocessing) and Integrative Counselling. We work with Adults, Children and Adolescents. We see clients who self refer, as well as those who may have insurance such as BUPA or Aviva. We are always happy to discuss your counselling needs prior to your making an appointment.

I trained as a psychotherapist later in life following a previous career working with vulnerable individuals. Coupled with my now extensive psychotherapeutic training, I am a knowledgeable, conscientious and empathetic individual whom is well respected within the field.
