As a person-centred creative counsellor, I see the client and therapist as equals. I provide you with a safe, confidential space to explore the issues that you bring.These sessions are yours, to use as you wish.

Welcome I am a registered MBACP accredited Counsellor/psychotherapist. I am qualified in several modalities of therapy - meaning I can integrate a range of interventions to support you. I work with individuals, couples, families, children and young people. I offer online appointments and face to face appointments in York and Thirsk. I also offer walk and talk sessions in York and Thirsk. I specialise in relationship and psychosexual therapy, trauma and PTSD. If you are experiencing difficulties and would like to talk in confidence, I'm here by your side to support you and help you move forward at your pace.

Creative Arts Therapies & Traditional Talking Therapies. At The AoC Trust we really want to support families needing emotional help; couples trying to save their relationship or an individual looking for professional counselling/therapy in order to work through and heal psychological or social difficulties. If you cannot travel to us we can support you via telephone or video call. We are based in Central Dudley just a few minutes from the town centre and local bus station where we have our own lovely therapeutic rooms and training spaces and provide a fantastic team of registered and qualified therapeutic clinicians.

Initial Consultation Making sure you feel comfortable is my main priority, so you are always free to give me a call before booking your first therapy session. Please don’t hesitate to share your concerns or ask any questions during this chat. Therapy, after all, is a two-way process, and the more you put into it, the more you get out. I will also walk you through what to expect from our sessions together and, if you wish, provide you with a copy of the Ethical Principles on which my practice is built ahead of scheduling your first assessment session. This assessment session involves us looking at your history and broader issues.
