We can all have difficulties in everyday life and encounter problems that we simply find hard to cope with alone. You may feel worried, anxious, low, confused, isolated or may be experience difficulties in relationships. You may be suffering from feelings of low self esteem or low self confidence. You may have been diagnosed with anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, depression, or maybe you are just feeling sad. When these feelings and thoughts persist and become overwhelming it may be difficult to know which way to turn.

You are brave to get this far, I am here to help you go further; to become strong in your mental and emotional health. I believe that when pain we carry is faced in counselling, with insight, gentleness and compassion, healing comes. Healing then releases energy which enables you to be and to live well. Many people survive through not just childhood, but large junks of their lives and need to re-learn how to thrive instead. At times your true self and needs are so removed from your focus that functioning on a daily basis isan uphill challenge as you carry anxiety, depression, PTSD or battle negative feelings or feel misunderstood.

I'm a Clinical Psychologist based in Guildford, providing therapeutic services to young adults and adults aged 16 years and over. I qualified with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2003, and have over twenty years experience supporting and working with adults from a range of diverse backgrounds providing psychological intervention and guidance for a broad spectrum of mental health issues. During my career I have worked mainly in general adult mental health and in addition have specialised in helping people cope with the impact of chronic illness and long-term health conditions.
