I'm Dr Rachel Tyler and I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have over 10 years experience working across a range of NHS settings, supporting children, adolescents and adults with emotional difficulties. I have particular expertise working in child and adolescent mental health, including with mood disorders, neurodiversity, trauma and gender identity. In order to achieve a personalised therapy experience, I work from an integrative approach. This means I draw upon a range of therapeutic models dependent upon which approach best fits with your experiences.
My area of special interest is in working with individuals with long-term health conditions (adult and paediatric). The relationship between physical and mental health is something I feel strongly about and I strive to provide a service that recognises the emotional and psychological impact that managing a long-term health condition can have on daily life.
As a qualified Clinical Psychologist, I am privileged in being able to listen to people’s stories and share in their experiences. My aim is to help people to find a way forward.
