I am a counsellor and somatic trauma therapist with many years' experience in the helping professions. I offer a confidential space to help you navigate whatever challenges life is bringing you. You may be going through a crisis, you might feel constantly on edge or overwhelmed by difficult emotions, whether after trauma or for reasons that are hard to identify. Or you may feel stuck, knowing something needs to change but unsure how to move forward, struggling with low mood, motivation, or a sense of meaninglessness. Some people hesitate to seek therapy, believing their problems aren’t serious enough or that they should cope alone.
I integrate psychodynamic counselling, somatic therapy and mindfulness into my work and my approach will vary depending on what serves you, the client. I am also interested in how dreams and nightmares can help in the healing process. Some of the areas I have helped people with are depression, anxiety, loss of meaning, trauma and PTSD.
