I have trained in Psychodynamic Counselling, Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Somatic Skills for Trauma. Through understanding how past events colour our view of the world and ourselves we can understand how to make progress towards a different outcome. If you feel stuck and are looking for more autonomy and agency, I can help. I have experience of working with some common mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, and also some personality disorders, neurodiversity, and the anxieties and challenges that can come alongside this. I am also qualified to supervise my peers in line with their professional registration.
I can work with anxiety, depression or grief, and also trained and experienced working with people who have experienced trauma. I can help you to feel safer in yourself through somatic resources, and once safe and stable, we can then go onto exploration through talking therapy, working in a warm and professional way to facilitate this safely.
The relationship between client and counsellor is so important. I offer a free initial phone call where we can see if we can work together and that I am the best person for your needs.
