I specialise in working with LGBTQ+ clients and those who have always felt ‘different’ in some way. You might be looking for help because you are experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, difficulties making decisions or setting boundaries. It might seem like you have too many overwhelming feelings, or rarely any feelings at all. Maybe it feels like you’re getting in your own way and that you are frustratingly repeating the same unhelpful patterns and ways of coping which you know don't work. You're ready to try something new but you don't really know where to start.
I can support you to better understand why things are the way they are and what might help, so you can start to overcome your challenges and live a more fulfilling life. I will explore your experiences with you and use my knowledge of attachment, self-compassion and the neurobiology of trauma to help you better know, understand and accept yourself.
I aim to create a welcoming space where you feel safe and able to be seen. If you are interested in therapy with me, please get in touch by e-mail. My practice is currently online so you can focus on finding the right therapist for you. I offer a free consultation appointment so you can ask any questions and we can see if we are a good fit.
