About

I mainly work with LGBTQ+ clients and those who have always felt different in some way. My focus is on working with you to understand why you feel the way you do and what might help. Perhaps you find yourself becoming anxious, having panic attacks or feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions. Or maybe you feel like you’re getting in your own way, repeating the same unhelpful patterns and ways of coping which no longer serve you but seemingly unable to change. Together we can help manage the things that currently feel overwhelming and bring about the changes you want.
My counselling approach draws from a range of therapy models and aims to create a welcoming space where you feel safe and able to be seen so you can better know, understand and accept yourself. We will explore patterns in your relationships with yourself and others, how your past may be affecting your present and what to do about it.
Life can be really challenging and sometimes we all need some extra support to help navigate it. If you are interested in therapy with me please get in touch by e-mail, letting me know details of your availability. My practice is currently online and I offer a free 20 minute appointment so you can ask any questions and we can see if we are a good fit.
