I am a psychologist with particular interest in working with individuals, families and couples who want to use therapy to think about relationships. In some cases, this might be in the context of an autism spectrum condition, an existential/life crisis, or a change in circumstances. I've enjoyed working with creative people who are feeling blocked, and people who feel stuck in relationship patterns. I try to be honest, straightforward, and open. In the past, clients have described me as thoughtful, caring, funny (where appropriate!), and creative.
I am a qualified clinical psychologist with experience of working in NHS inpatient mental health settings. I have expertise in working with people who have histories of trauma. I tend to tailor the therapy I offer to the person I am working with. I am able to draw upon systemic (families and couples), psychoanalytic, and compassion focussed models.
